How to obtain the
Lifelong Learning University® certification?

Acceptance for certification as a Lifelong Learning University®.

Participation in the Lifelong Learning University® seal is by invitation only. Once a university has been selected, it must accept the invitation in order to move forward in the process. Failure to do so will result in the Lifelong Learning Ecosystem being assigned to another institution.

In-depth session on Lifelong Learning University® requirements and strategy

In this virtual session, the criteria for certification will be explained in detail and, together with a Lifelong Learning University® specialist, we will design a tailored strategy that aligns with the university's lifelong learning perspective, facilitating the achievement of certification.

Deliver Ecosystem of
Lifelong Learning

We understand the uniqueness of each university and provide two assessment options:

1) We review your current learning platform to ensure it meets our standards or

2) If you do not yet have a platform or wish to enrich your educational offering, we offer access to our extensive ecosystem of over 5,000 courses and various assessment tools, all supported by our allies.

Quarterly Evaluation, Certification and Recognition

Three months into the certification process, we conducted a meticulous evaluation to assess progress and achievements, using methodologies supported by leading institutions in the field of lifelong learning.

This review will identify areas of strength, as well as those that may require additional attention. The outcome of this assessment will largely determine the final categorization that the university will obtain.

What are the benefits of becoming certified?

The path to certification to become a Lifelong Learning University is not just a symbolic recognition; it is a gateway to a set of opportunities and tangible advantages for educational institutions:

Exclusive community of rectors recognized as Lifelong Learning Leader®.

It's not just a label, it's an opportunity to connect and collaborate. You'll have direct access to an exclusive group of rectors and visionary leaders in education. These connections foster inter-institutional collaborations, exchange of best practices and mutual learning that can drive innovation and progress at your own institution.

Master in AI with Double Degree

At the training level, the rectors of certified institutions will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in a Master in Artificial Intelligence for Higher Education. This master's degree not only provides state-of-the-art skills and knowledge, but also a double degree.

The start of this program will take place at a special event in Guayaquil from October 18 to 20. And to culminate this learning journey, participants will be part of an exclusive summit in Punta Cana in February 2024, a space to celebrate achievements, share experiences and look to the future of education.
